Job Description

The Human Resources New Graduate will join the European HR team to work on business-critical projects for nine-month rotations through Visa’s HR functions. The rotations support Visa’s mission to recruit and
develop future HR leaders with cross-functional knowledge and experience. The New Graduate will gain exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources including the below sample rotations. In addition to meaningful rotations, the New Graduate will engage in training & development, networking and leadership exposure. 

The HR New Graduate will spend their first nine months on the Total Rewards team, responsible
for developing, implementing and maintaining compensation and benefits programs that are competitive with current industry trends and best practices. Responsibilities in a rotation might include:

  • Participate in the development and drive the execution of compensation processes and initiatives such as annual review, incentive and equity plans, competitive and ad hoc analyses, projects and reporting for assigned client groups.
  • Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position. Formulate recommendations regarding annual updates to the company salary structure.

  • Work with global and local stakeholders on rewards program strategy, architecture, and program delivery based on corporate objectives.

Talent Acquisition

This team partners with the business to attract and place top candidates at Visa, fill talent gaps and drive successful succession planning. Responsibilities in a rotation might include:

  • Support recruiters during the full cycle recruiting process, which includes, but is not limited to
    sourcing, screening, interview process management, maintaining candidate relationships, creating and extending offers, and closing candidates.
  • Support recruiting teams as they design, implement and execute robust, innovative, recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent and meet hiring goals.
     

HR Business Partners

HRBPs drive people initiatives across the company as strategic partners to business leaders. Responsibilities in a rotation might include:

  • Support HRBPs in personnel transactions such as employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.  Also provide support during larger organizational changes such as re-orgs or acquisitions.
  • Provides HR partnership and consulting to managers and employees and educate them on available
    self-service resources as appropriate.

  • Manage, track and report progress on HR issue resolution.  Identify trends and provide possible
    solutions.

 

HR Consulting

This team provides services to employees and managers including: management coaching, coaching on performance improvement plans, employee relations and investigations, enterprise wide program execution, policy development and organizational health metrics and trends. Responsibilities in a rotation might include:

  • Analyze and interpret client and/or market data to deliver relevant, actionable recommendations to
    drive high impact strategic and tactical performance improvement within the HR function.
  • Build toolkits and best practice documents and consulting approaches that may be leveraged and applied across the large issuer consulting practice.

  • Provide knowledge sharing, coaching and training across functional teams and/or regions.
