Job Description

The N.A. Commercial Product Team has responsibility for the N.A. Market P&L and product vision for Visa’s commercial solutions including creation of issuer segment strategies, commercialization of new and enhanced products and services, research and thought leadership, and product engagement with our issuing financial institutions and partners. The team serves financial institutions and their downstream clients by providing payment products and services to the large and middle market corporate/multinational companies, governments and commercial supply chain/B2B segments. The N.A. Market Team works collaboratively with the Commercial Platform and Commercial Sales Team as well as other regions, ensuring alignment of market positioning across all areas of Commercial.



The N.A Market Senior Director, Commercial Product - Commercialization Lead will be responsible for developing, packaging and delivering excellent business solutions and services for customers across the globe.

This role requires a strategic leader with demonstrated success who understands broad market trends, market penetration tactics and can identify insights to develop them into business strategies while delivering thought leadership around our business priorities.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Identify and lead multi-product commercialization initiatives, including establishing go-to-market approach and key performance indicators for products, setting objectives in partnership with regions, and driving commercial plans to ensure success

  • Lead roadmap governance and prioritization driven by a balance of market enhancements, strategic priorities and IT enhancements across segment needs

  • Support engagement delivery and capture client feedback on products including input into the commercial competitive strategy.

  • Lead the release planning approach including market communications, quality
    assurance alignment and verification of major and minor product launches.

  • Demonstrate thought-leadership,
    product/technology development expertise and strong project management skills
    in the integration of technology into new product and service solutions

  • Drive product commercialization strategies for "the existing suite" of products to be leveraged with cross-functional teams

  • Provide thought leadership and innovation within the Technology practice

  • Translate business insights into differentiated value propositions for strategic segments and constantly evaluates the value creation process to drive world-class products.

  • Test, challenge and improve product business cases for overall viability and financial validity, leveraging business and financial acumen

  • Act as an expert, advocate and champion for designated products to stakeholders

  • Oversee and Recommend the development of training and other product support materials for Visa’s strategic solutions

  • As a member of the NA Product LMM team, provide
    expert input into the business strategy and go to market plans

  • Nurture critical relationships across regions
    and functions to ensure strong team cohesion and the alignment with the global
    and regional product strategies

  • Align work with Specialized Sales and Account Executives including the
    creation of client facing marketing collateral, sales presentations, and acting
    as product SME for product calls with our financial institution customers.



















Qualifications

  • Senior Leader with extensive experience (12+ years) in Product and P&L management, preferably in Commercial card
  • Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred)
  • Knowledge of all electronic payment types including Commercial card payments experience
  • Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources
  • Strong results-oriented leader; analytic and fact-based consultative discipline
  • Add value to customers by insightful and thoughtful questioning, offering new ideas, and delivering solutions
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
  • Ability to work with leading industry partners and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcome
  • Able to work independently and in a matrixed environment

This role is to have a lead across how we commercialize our products and solutions in market - and globally. This h/c come from existing Opex/HC.
