Job Description
HR Strategy and Planning Manager
Purpose
The HR Strategy and Planning Manager directly supports the Central Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) HR team to facilitate achievement of financial and business goals for the region. Closely engaging with all internal stakeholders, the HR Manager provides support, oversight and project management across all strategic and day-to-day priorities of the region.
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area
This role will effectively model collaboration across the region by providing support in managing strategic HR initiatives, client support programs, and management reporting and related areas.
Identify, prioritize, structure and lead manage major project
work streams related to Visa HR and strategic priorities in CEMEA, coordinate
and optimize all processes and initiatives relating to identified initiativesMaintain tight alignment and work closely with relevant
teams, acting as a project manager on HR strategic or region-wide processes
such as Annual Operational Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc. and
bringing timely and useful insight, perspective, analytical support, and
research resources. Specific project content will vary greatly in sponsor,
business or strategic focus, depth, and stakeholder served.Identify, structure, and manage complex business and HR issues
by collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make
recommendations and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate
priorities and demonstrate results to business linesAct as a strategic program office for the coordination of
business critical, cross-functional projectsWork with minimal direction, usually within a complex and
often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to
functional, or regional management while supporting syndication with
stakeholders across the organizationPerform management reporting, research, data analysis and
build insights to assist executive decision making, prepare regular reporting
and presentation documents
Qualifications
Required Experience (education, skills - professional/technical/business)
10+ years project and program management experience
5+ years research and analytics experience
Experience working in an international company
Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Experience (education, skills - professional/technical/business)
Experience working in one or more of HR center’s
of excellence such as workforce planning, talent management, reporting and
analyticsRelevant Project Management and/or HR
accreditation/ tertiary qualificationRegional Language skills
