Department Details

Client Support Services (CSS) provides industry-leading operational support to Visa’s clients around the world. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we are a key internal partner to product and technology, bringing the voice of the customer into the design, development and successful deployment of Visa products and services. In addition to support client implementation of Visa products and services globally, CSS is also responsible for a host of critical services that support the broader Visa organization and clients, including: Visa Rules management, cardholder disputes, compliance, client testing and configuration, and client tools. The team also provides support for Visa’s DPS,  CyberSource and Authorize.net businesses. Across time zones and borders, we provide clients with a comprehensive set of services including on-behalf-of contact center support to the end consumer and merchant. We are trusted partners to Visa’s clients, providing expertise to support and successfully grow their business.

Job Description

Visa Inc. is searching for a Developer Support Specialist for our Visa Developer Platform team. As a key subject matter expert and team member, you will provide direct support to developers across multiple channels, including emails and community forum. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with developers and customers to ease their journey on the Visa Developer Platform (VDP) and to influence the product roadmap, to ensure the user experience is easy and frictionless.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide direct support to developers on the VDP portal across multiple channels. 
  • Moderate the Visa Developer community forum and maintain an engaging, vibrant developer community. 
  • Coordinate with Product, Account Management, Technology, global client services teams and others to address developer requests and to provide a superior customer experience
  • Continuously expand your knowledge base with new products/APIs being added to the platform 
  • Continually improve the customer experience and drive towards self-service by developing the community, being the voice of the customer and influencing product roadmap 
  • Innovate on new ways to interact with developers 
  • Focus on identifying and meeting developer needs that result in high impact solutions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in providing developer support for a platform or a SaaS product
  • Bachelor Degree required. Engineering degree preferred
  • Ideal if you have direct experience building applications through use of API
  • Experience providing operational support for a platform or a SaaS based product is highly desired
  • Strong cross functional, global collaboration skills with an ability to work across all levels
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced and complex environment, with an ability to handle increasing customer demands
  • Excellent presence and experience in communicating and presenting to clients
  • Working knowledge of payments industry a plus but not required.
