Job Description

The Role

The Global Data Products organization provides software and data services to Visa clients globally. The Project Analyst/Coordinator will provide operations coordination, project management support to help ensure the success of the Global Data Products. This position will handle multiple initiatives requiring collaboration across Visa and third-parties. This position will also work with confidential information and thus will need to ensure adherence to company policies and practices. The Project Analyst/Coordinator have strong organization and prioritization skills and be resourcefulness with a can-do attitude.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal team members and external parties to ensure projects and requests are executing to plan
  • Track and coordinate inbound requests and tasks to ensure they have owners and are delivered within expectations
  • Follow up on cross-functional issues such as contract approvals, billing and staffing to understand needed steps and help progress to completion
  • Prepare and consolidate materials for monthly business reviews and help facilitate related meetings including capturing and managing action items to closure
  • Assist with developing and updating PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Word
    documents
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative professional business relationships with all levels of management, employees and outside companies
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other Project Managers, Operations Managers and Administrative Assistants across business functions and regional locations
  • Assist with developing and updating PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Word documents.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or Associates degrees with continued education or training in project management e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Years’ Experience: 5+

Skills

  • Cross-functional experience -working on projects with both the business and IT to accomplish a shared goal 
  • Self-motivated, works well independently as well as part of a team, and works with minimal direction
  • Fundamental project management skills.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to think and operation globally across time zones and calendars
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Microsoft Access,
    Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint).
  • Personal characteristics include strong organization, resourcefulness and positive can-do attitude
