Job Description

The Head of Visa eCommerce Products will be responsible for leading and developing the Asia Pacific eCommerce channel strategy and the commercialisation and go-to-market plans for Visa’s suite of eCommerce products and services that will drive Visa as the best way to pay and be paid for Digital Commerce.

Included in the portfolio of responsibilities for this role are deploying Secure Remote Commerce, Visa Checkout, Visa Risk Products and eCommerce issuer optimization. This role partners with Visa teams such as Innovation & Strategic Partnerships, Risk, Marketing, and Engineering teams to grow Visa eCommerce drive consumer engagement, and integrate Visa Inc

Lead strategy and collaborate across functions and geographies to execute launch strategy and commercialization plan

This position reports directly to Vice President, Digital Products, Asia Pacific.


Responsibilities

• Primary ownership and leadership of Visa eCommerce channel strategy for the Asia Pacific region with the aim of deploying Visa products, platforms and services to reduce friction, increase security and drive customer and merchant preference.


• Develop and lead the strategy required to successfully deploy Secure Remote Commerce across the Asia Pacific Region


• Lead the deployment of tokenization for Card on File eCommerce merchants


• Develop and lead strategic eCommerce roadmaps in partnership with the Merchant Sales & Solutions Regional and market based teams.


• Responsible for the positioning of Visa Risk Products as an essential tool for successful risk management amongst Issuers, Acquirers, Merchants and gateways


• Build the Risk Optimisation practice for Asia Pacific to drive further enhancements in existing client risk performance


• Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive of 3DS 2.0 adoption and Cardinal Commerce deployments across the region


• Continue to work with Global Risk Products to refine the AP region go-to-market requirements on new capabilities such as Visa ID and OBO services


• Work with Risk Products, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Customer Solutions & Support to identify opportunities for issuer eCommerce performance improvements via risk management, fraud mitigation and authorization improvement.


• Identify resource requirements, both financial and resource investments where required to accelerate the realization of Visa Digital Commerce objectives


• Collaborate with global and regional cross functional teams within Product, Risk, Digital and other functions and geographies - to develop new eCommerce products and prioritize growth strategies.


• Establish performance targets and business metrics to drive growth.


• Develop successful launch requirements (e.g., level of customer support required, development of resource plans, pricing recommendations for Finance Approval on Risk Products, development of client facing marketing collateral)


• Initiate and or lead co-creation of solutions with other functions (e.g., Product, Marketing, Merchant Sales, Geography based teams) to identify merchant and gateway pain points and solutions that utilize Visa digital assets and services


• Conduct due diligence on global platform and solutions prioritization for rollout in Asia Pacific and define product features necessary to succeed in the AP region.


• Accelerate time-to-market by identifying market and product risks and solving critical issues.


• Continuously scan external environment to bring in best-in-class practices and challenge conventional wisdom to ensure Visa’s continued leadership and excellence.

Qualifications

• eCommerce and/or payment industry knowledge is required


• Experience in driving product strategy and Go-To-Market for eCommerce and digital payments


• Exceptional leadership and influencing skills and business acumen – thinks strategically to influence and drive tactical execution


• Seasoned leader with extensive industry and functional expertise


• Strong demonstrated collaborator with the ability to effectively work cross-organizationally
