Job Description

Visa’s Business Solutions Group represents a robust range of payments solutions for commercial clients in the Small Business, Middle Market, large Corporate, and Government segments. As technology rapidly develops to increase efficiency in electronic payments, Visa is at the forefront serving the growing demand for innovative payment solutions across the T & E and B2B space.  The leader will direct Visa Business Solutions to new and emerging Payment technologies for our commercial clients.

This position will report into the Global Head for Visa Business Solutions  while also having a direct line locally to the Regional product Head in Asia. This position is responsible for the establishment and execution of a long-term strategy that accelerates Visa’s commercial business, leading teams responsible for Products, Platforms, key partnerships and Sales.  S/he will drive thought leadership and development with issuers, acquirers, technology partners and emerging alternative providers.
 

• Responsible for all of Visa’s commercial business results and expansion within the region, including the establishment of regional strategies and priorities, sales relationships, new business development, product delivery, platform development and support.


• Develop and own the Business Solutions P&L for the Asia region.


• Grow revenue significantly within the region while managing costs


• Develop and lead a high caliber team of sales, partnership, platform and product delivery specialists.


• Partner on major initiatives and opportunities, leveraging customer interactions to identify new and enhanced products and services.


• Oversee cross functional Go-To-Market teams in implementation of new or enhanced products.


• Add value to customers by focusing on the product needs and gaps, offering consultative feedback based on our current and envisioned solutions.


• Work closely with other key stakeholders like Marketing,  Visa Consulting and Analytics, and Partnerships to develop solutions relevant to the region.


• Works in close partnership with global business solutions team and deliver globally consistent and regionally relevant solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading teams in the commercial and/or payments industries


• Extensive knowledge of commercial payment methods (cards and digital), competitive and market trends, and leading edge technology and innovation.  Strong history of commercial payment flows.


• Deep experience in Transaction Banking (10 years +), Trade Finance and/or Treasury preferred


• Ability to address regulators with strategic thought leadership


• Demonstrated capability on managing a business on an end to end basis across a complex geography


• Passion for building strong team culture and developing the team’s careers and contributions to best success


• MBA or equivalent work experience required
