•Skilled in MicroStrategy report and dashboard including dynamic dashboards, grids, graphs, scorecards, and statistical reporting utilizing MicroStrategy Release V10
•Provide complex and challenging support for MicroStrategy’s Business Intelligence product suite and its underlying technologies
•Develop strong relationships with Client facing counterpart and customers/partners through daily, high quality interactions during customer project development and production system maintenance
•Find creative and sophisticated solutions to problems reported while using MicroStrategy’s product suite through analytical talent and strong troubleshooting abilities.
•Work with Microstrategy Support vendor and act as a support liaison
•Drive the Bridges
•Able to analyze automation requirements and come up with a sound and sustainable solutions
•Work on projects focused on continuous improvement of the application support model and associated processes using appropriate technologies
•Perform root cause analysis and identify and implement corrective and preventive measures
•Must have good knowledge of SQL and Oracle

•Proactively research, analyze, evaluate (if needed) technologies that are innovative and could complement existing portfolio of BI/Analytics technologies.

• 5+ in professional experience
•Must have Bachelor’s degree
•Must have 3+ years of experience with Microstrategy suite of products including Development and support Project.
•Must have 3+ years of experience on writing queries in SQL server and Oracle
•Knowledge of BI and data warehousing principles including data modeling, data quality, extract/transform/load process, job scheduling and indexing
•Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
•Thorough knowledge of all capabilities of the MicroStrategy Suite including the following Dimensional Modeling, Architect, Developer, Enterprise Manager, Cube Advisor, Cube creation/ management/ automation, Integrity Manager, Object Manager, Distribution Services, Narrowcast, Visual Insight, Mobile
•Experience with the agile development methodology
•Experience with any source control system
•Knowledge of any BI reporting tools like Tableau/ Denodo would be advantage
•Experience in banking and finance projects are a plus
•Strong analytical skills & Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Competent user of productivity software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
•Ability to multitask in a fast placed environment
•Hadoop Hive and Impala Knowledge along with MicroStrategy is a PLUS
•Experience with tools like Asknow, JIRA, SharePoint, wiki etc.
•Ability to work well in an IT organizational environment with strong collaborative and team orientation
•Detail and process oriented, well organized with effective time management skills
•Database (SQL, RDBMS) knowledge is a MUST
•UNIX , UNIX scripting , Java, HTML, XML/XSL, ASP technologies are a plus
•Ready to work in work in 24/7 support model
•Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new initiatives
•Good Knowledge of SQL Server / IBM DB2
