Job Description

• This role is pivotal in meeting and managing the relationship needs of a global client in the AP region.
• The key objective is to grow and retain Visa’s business with the client, while building advocacy with the most senior decision makers in the client’s organisation. Of key importance is the delivery of tangible value to the client through relationship building and delivering solutions, services and resource to support the client’s goals in the region.
• The role reports to, and supports, Visa Inc.’s Global Account Executive as part of the Global Client account team, and leads the AP Account team who are based in both HK and Singapore.
• The Role of VP Global Clients AP is the key interface between the client in AP and the Regional and Global teams .
• The role owns the relationship and business between Visa and the client in the region, and runs directly and remotely the strategy, the engagement, the direction, and philosophy between Visa and the client. To achieve this, the role needs to work closely with the Visa Asia Pacific Leadership team, Group Country Managers and Country Managers in AP as well as the local Account Managers responsible for the client in each of the 12 AP markets.
• The role is designed to ensure the smooth running of the client relationship in all AP markets where they operate, presenting the face of Visa and bringing the best of Visa to the client.
• Some of the key duties will include:
a. Managing a team of 3 based in HK and Singapore
b. Management of the P&L
c. Setting strategy and direction and ensuring subsequent implementation
• The incumbent will need to be able to influence in-market Account Managers and other internal stakeholders (Product, Consulting, Risk, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance, etc.) to deliver best in class reporting, monitoring and account management information for internal and external consumption.
• Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures Visa is familiar with the strategies and issues of the Client and tailor Visa's engagement to address those needs, to assist the client in meeting their business objectives and maximizing the performance of their Visa portfolio.


JOB SCOPE
Key Responsibilities

• Manage day to day business and operations of this global client.
• Leverage the team to deliver key reporting and monitoring requirements to ensure that the account lead and team has the best possible information at hand and ensure robust delivery and management of forecasting, budgeting and deal management disciplines.  
• Ensure full audit compliance in regards to deal tracking, Consulting engagements, and contract management.        
• Lead Visa's client specific global projects and region centric initiatives in conjunction with various functional areas such as Client Support Services, brand / marketing, acceptance, risk, product management and consulting groups to deliver added value to the client.
• Drive initiatives to ensure that the client achieves regional and global performance targets.
• Manage the day to day relationship with Senior Client Stakeholders across the region.

Qualifications

Professional
• Recognized degree preferably in Business Management, preferably a Master's Degree in Economics or Business
• Minimum 15 years of proven sales experience, with strong account management experience, project management experience and relationship management experience. A background in business consulting, financial product management will be preferable.
