Job Description

Visa’s Corporate Functions Finance team is going through an exciting period of new growth, as we seek to expand our level of influence from financial planning to more strategic decision support. To achieve this objective, we have substantially grown our team in both headcount and skill set. We are seeking a solid Financial Analyst to drive the decision support, analytics and reporting across the entire team. This position
will play an instrumental role in redefining how we measure business performance, rebuilding and automating our reports and analyses, and preparing ad hoc analysis in response to questions from our business partners.

Responsibilities:

•Improve Visa’s Corporate Functions’ financial performance by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions

•Design, build and maintain various management reporting models in Hyperion (Smartview) and Access involving executive management, product and direct/indirect P&L reports

•Review and understand monthly reporting hierarchy changes in Hyperion and implement changes accordingly

•Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity and consistency of information as well as organized documentation of results and data sources used

•Support production, publication and distribution of monthly reports including updating and sending out variance templates to region counterparts and Finance Business Partners

•Assist in performing accurate variance analysis and outlining contributing factors

•Communication with various partners, including Corporate FP&A, region counterparts, Finance Business Partners, Accounting and External Reporting


Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related quantitative field

•3 to 5 years of relevant financial analysis work experience

•Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical

•Ability to work with large amounts of data and organize in a logical and efficient manner

•Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access and Hyperion, and strong skills in Powerpoint

•Accounting and analytical/analysis skills

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills

•Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and produce time sensitive deliverables

•Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
