Job Description

Visa’s Audit, Risk and Public Policy (ARP) Initiatives and Operations team is part of the ARP team, which works in support of the Global ARP organization. ARP Initiatives and Operations is hiring a Director, Employee Engagement and Learning. This is a critical role within the ARP Initiatives and Operations team. You will partner with the VP of ARP Initiatives and Operations to support day-to-day business operations globally across four main areas:

·       Special projects in support of the ARP organization and executive leaders.

·       Strategic planning and content curation for key internal and external events.

·       Development and execution of ARP employee development and engagement programs in partnership with HR.

·       Development and execution of ARP learning programs in partnership with HR.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a background in consulting/strategy as well as operational experience: strong project management skills, motivating change in cross-functional settings and bias toward action will all be essential attributes. The role will routinely involve quickly grasping complex topics, problem solving and development of execution plans. Projects will typically involve rapid turnaround times and time-critical decisions. This person will build relationships across functional areas across ARP and must have the ability to interact and engage with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

·       Lead business operations projects in support of the ARP leadership team.

·       Define, manage and embed new BAU processes in support of the business.

·       Manage project-related interactions and communications with functional leaders across the ARP organization.

·       Lead projects and programs to drive learning initiatives including ARP employee development and ARP hosted Visa-wide curriculum.

Qualifications

•    Self-starter with a bias toward action and proven track record for successfully developing and launching strategic programs.
•    10+ years of relevant experience, including at least ten years of experience in program/project management and/or in management consulting.
•     Bachelor's required, Masters preferred
•    Excellent problem solving skills.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Transparent in communication, decisive and big-picture oriented.
•    Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate activities with tangible business results.
•    Exceptional personal accountability and the highest of ethical standards.
