The Products &b Solutions group has the mandate to expand Visa's innovation and technology scope with banks and with non-traditional clients; as well as leading in country product development and management responsibilities, thus requires a talent to help drive our global digital strategy and manage the expansion activity in Mexico. Ideal candidate will have the proven ability to develop a deployment plan for a product and execute on Visa’s strategic growth objectives.

Role includes primary responsibility of the Visa Developer Platform including leading Visa Direct engagement in coordination with the Hub Product Teams. This is, in turn, a large part of Visa's global product strategy as a whole. Will also be responsible for reporting progress and activity to country, regional managers and product leads. Reports to Head of Products for Mexico.

In addition, the role will bring:

• Deep understanding, knowledge, and passion of the technology and payments landscape, client and partner needs as reflected by trends in their respective industries
  
• Proven ability at driving client engagement for development and delivery of new products or solutions, and broad understanding of Visa's capabilities and assets including but not limited to the Visa Developer Platform
  

• Strong engineering or architecture background focused on Web technologies, APIs, and machine-to-machine communication over the Internet with experience as a developer of applications or APIs
• Experience in managing people and resources across a matrix organization and in driving technical or prototype oriented outputs that are valuable for partners and clients
  
• Ability to work with Visa's Product Managers to identify, define, and build new APIs to fill emerging demands in the marketplace for new Visa capabilities that are specific to Mexico 
  

Job Scope:

• Drive delivery and development of prototype solutions  based on innovation themes in the market, Visa capabilities and priorities, and client needs
  
• Inspire developers to build their new products using Visa’s APIs and SDKs. Engage regularly and often with developers and use their feedback and experiences to create and evolve content, add desirable features, identify new APIs needed/wanted by the market, and enhance the usability of the Visa Developer website in Mexico
  
• Build and leverage Visa-internal network to identify assets that can be showcased, and source new ideas for concepts and prototyping. Engage with various Visa internal groups in technology, risk, marketing, products, IP, etc. to drive collaboration, access and permissions to deliver co-creation prototypes
  
• Strong understanding of software development, product development and rapid prototyping capabilities including Human Centered Design. Be conversant in the predominant programming languages used by our target developer communities and be equally at home in SOAP/XML as you are in REST/JSON
  
• Proven experience in managing interfaces to technology development groups, data scientists and other technical teams in order to translate business needs to deliverables
  

• Diverse experience across issuer banks and merchants strongly preferred
• Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects across internal and external organizations
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
• 12 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in product development and deployment, focused on strategy, technology, data and payments
• Fluent in Spanish and in English
