Job Description

Purpose

You are responsible for support the growing of VISA Acceptance in Brazil, by supporting and sustaining conditions to increase market penetration. For coordination of the primary contact with some of clients, Payment Facilitators and Marketplaces in particular, providing overall support, business solutions, brand orientation, products and services to those clients. Develop solutions to expand into new segments – B2B, P2P, B2C, small and large tickets.

Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Area

To support with the following:

  • Support the operational process demanded by Regulators regarding Marketplaces and Payment Facilitators;
  • Develop new approaches for increasing processing volume;
  • Provide data consolidation regarding acceptance from acquirers, Payment Facilitators and Marketplaces to senior management via MIS (Management Information System) and KRI (Key Risk indicators) ;
  • Support revenue growth by helping our clients to explore new verticals, business models and cash conversion;
  • Develop processes to fulfill Visa´s responsibilities derived from regulation with new participants like Payments Facilitators and Marketplaces such as Contract, Amendment, Risk Plan and Compliance;
  • Identify and develop new content for Marketplaces and Payment Facilitators environment in Visa website;
  • Develop interface mechanisms that will allow Visa to communicate better with those participants. This channel will allow Visa to manage an array of daily needs from sending instructions messages to increase our database and the accuracy of our reports;
  • Map opportunities/risks among these new participants;
  • Be the main point of contact for internal Units such as Legal, Risk and Compliance for any issue related to Marketplaces and Payment Facilitators;
  • Support to monitor the Key Performance Indicators of client by product, making analysis of feedback and planning new alternatives / possibilities of business;
  • Support implementation plans for new projects along with Products, Marketing, Finance, Operations and other Teams, making analysis of viability, in order to offer the best way to leverage the business of VISA and Clients
  • Gathering and analyzing of available Visa solutions for the targeted teams and products of each client;
  • Presentations’ development and client meetings’ organization;
  • Planning implementation of management tools with various initiatives by clients;
  • Analyze, review, and track all documentation requests to ensure appropriateness and timely fulfillment; ensure clear communications;
  • Report status and metrics weekly to management.

 

 

Strategic Nature, Mgmt Accountability, & Scope

You will support Grow Acceptance Initiatives, which includes short and long-term plans for Clients in order to ensure that such plans adhere to Visa objectives of growing Clients’ profitability, strengthening the partnership within them and being in conformity with Visa overall strategy.

Decision Making & Complexity

You will bring information from the Clients to contribute with the decisions process related to the routine matters or market moves.  Support Negotiation with other Teams of Visa to establish better solutions for
the Clients.

Financial & Organizational Scope

You will be accountable for growing VISA´s acceptance through verticals poorly explored, cash conversion initiatives and special projects. You will be accountable for structuring payment solutions to our clients using all VISA capabilities and products to generate new business opportunities.

Reporting Relationships & Interactions

Interact with people within the organization, as other Sales, Finance, Products, CSS and Marketing Teams, among others including some interaction with LAC Region Teams.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree / MBA preferred
  • 4-6 years of experience preferable including sales and/or customer relationship in the payments industry;
  • English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Spanish as a plus;
  • Emphasis in customer-facing roles;
  • Very analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a ¨peer¨ with the sales
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional VISA and client areas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
