Job Description

As a Director of Platform Management, you will be part of the Visa Global Business Solutions Platform Team, working with the various B2B and Reporting platform managers.  The B2B and Reporting team is responsible for the global design and execution of the B2B and Reporting platforms.  In this role, you will be responsible to coordinate, create, track and provide status on project deliverables with our internal and external clients.   Interaction with cross-functional groups within Visa and our Commercial clients will be a key part of this role, collaborating with Business Solution product owners, internal implementation and client support teams, and our technology partners to list of few of the critical contacts. 

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. and/or 5 to 7 years of experience in Product/Project management with progressively increasing responsibility in the financial services industry. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required)

  • The ability to use computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel (advanced), Visio, JIRA etc. (Required)

  • Experience working in an agile environment.

  • The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others in cross functional teams to implement and assess the operational impact of changes to processes/procedures.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, to lead, influence others and set direction.

  • Ability to contribute new ideas and find solutions to business challenges resulting in platform enhancements while delivering top-quality customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and communicate project plans internally to cross functional teams and externally to our clients.

  • Provide status raising awareness of risks and conflicts in timely fashion.

  • As the representative of the business, monitor progress of development and technical project teams, resolving and escalating issues as required.

  • Work with Senior product manager’s and technology partners to prioritize platform enhancements.

  • Research current platform functionality and develop deep understanding of current platform capabilities.

  • Support marketing, sales, implementation, and support teams in their relationships with financial institution issuers and end corporate clients as business product representative as required.

  • Provide timely update on status of platform enhancements to internal groups and Commercial clients.

  • Participant in Release User Acceptance Testing.

  • Ensure compliance with appropriate product/project development policies and processes.

  • Communicate effectively with external and internal customers.

  • Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues.
