Job Description

As the Project Analyst within Operations & Infrastructure's Business Operations & Efficiency group, you will be in part responsible for ensuring projects are planned, managed, funded, and governed in a consistent and transparent manner. 

Responsibilities to include:

  • Project management through completion and transition, weekly project reporting, as well as cross-functional communication with internal and external business partners including Financial Planning, Technical Contacts, and Sourcing

As an experienced project/program analyst-manager, you will manage complete technical aspects of a project while communicating status in a manner relevant to internal customers at all levelss, including executive through traditional Waterfall as well as Agile techniques with the right mix of task breakdown, standups, meetings, and sprint duration.  This role is entirely about successful project delivery while working with matrixed teams comprised of systems analysis, technology owners, operations, business personnel, and vendors and you will report to the Director of Operations & Infrastructure (O&I) Business Operations.

Qualifications

 

  • 4+ years of experience in a technical project/program management role.  Focus on infrastructure a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with metrics-driven technical project/program management with direct accountability for delivery
  • Experience working with engineering teams, financial planning, and sourcing organizations
  •  Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral) from front-line engineering to senior executive-level
  • Ability to view, interpret, and manipulate data often from multiple sources
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority as well as gain trust, secure buy-in, and affect change
  • Actively seek out and solve problems, and bring structure where there may be disparate organization
  • Resiliency

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business analytics, engineering, computer science, information systems, or Business Administration
  • PMP or PgMP certification
  • Company-wide software implementation a plus
