Job Description

Visa Direct is high priority global push payment processing capability that provides Visa clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers etc.) the ability to facilitate funds transfers and disbursements to card payment accounts anywhere in the world. Visa Direct push payments programs are already in place in multiple countries and include person-to-person (P2P payments, business-to-consumer (B2C) funds disbursements such as insurance claims, shared economy and marketplace payouts, loan disbursements and gaming winnings with future opportunities in healthcare, government disbursements, and more! Visa Direct programs also include person-to-merchant (P2M) push payments for traditional merchant acceptance as well as micro-business casual sellers who want to receive payments into their payment card account. 

The Visa Direct Global Product Policy, Risk Management and Operations team is looking for experienced leaders who have demonstrated success in evaluating challenges, identifying clear paths to resolution and aggressively driving solutions. The Visa Direct Senior Director of Product Operations, Enablement, and Service Management will work primarily with internal stakeholders to ensure successful integration, adoption, utilization, and commercialization of Visa Direct push payment capabilities and services. Candidates will have demonstrated the ability to work in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines and an unwavering ability to delivery against stated goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Visa Direct architecture and development team on the expansion and commercialization of new and enhanced Visa Direct payment use cases and value added services.

  • Primary source for delivering global baseline client engagement support materials and artifacts to help global and regional commercialization teams across the globe facilitate Visa Direct implementation discussions and deep dives with clients.

  • Provide global product management to clients and internal stakeholders for Visa Direct value added services: define, document, implement and support on an ongoing basis global set-up and implementation process, documentation and training materials and approaches for clients and internal teams as well as lead the triage and resolution for production issues related to Visa Direct value added services.

  • Coordinate with Visa Development Platform (VDP) on harmonization and management of Visa Direct inquiries as well as communication and presentation of Visa Direct on VDP.

  • Work with Global Strategy teams on development and rollout of new channels (e.g., cross border payments and multi-currency strategies) and push payments opportunities (B2B).

  • Maintain global data repositories and resource tools for collaboration, information and documentation sharing; make changes to improve effectiveness, communicate content updates to educate and inform Visa Direct teams about new or updated content.

  • Identify innovative solutions to enhance and improve client engagement experience through new or improved artifacts, training tools and approaches, and information sharing. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in technology or payment services product management, solution development and/or development or process consulting environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong understanding of card payment processing and what it takes to integrate and enable clients.
  • Ability to seamlessly and skillfully bring together complex technical information and business considerations into professional documentation, support materials, and training applicable to a cross section of audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation for both business and technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, results driven, with the ability to quickly establish clear, well thought out action plans and aggressively drive deliverables to completion under tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a strong focus on clients
  • Ability to identify and reconcile cross-system impacts and dependencies, to decompose high-level information into details and vice versa, and to derive general understanding from low-level details
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a cross functional team.
  • Possess strong leadership and collaboration skills to build relationships and lead teams to deliver on critical product support and development
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results
  • Comfortable working with and understanding new technology
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, discipline to focus on details, and able to deal effectively with ambiguity and work with a vast array of information in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Financial/payment industry knowledge in one or more of the following areas, digital, push payments, P2P, B2C and/or B2B offerings required
