Job Description

Visa Inc. is searching for a Director of Global Marketing Strategic Analytics.  As a key member of the Global Marketing Platforms and Capabilities team, the selected candidate will bring leadership, strategic thinking, and a disciplined approach to developing actionable business insights.

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Analytics, Global Marketing, this leader will:
•    Drive high profile, complex strategic projects for Global Marketing & Communications, in collaboration with global, regional, and local marketing teams
•    Leverage disparate sources of data and conduct statistical analytics to guide strategy recommendations for global marketing and priority countries 
•    Develop measurement approaches and experimental designs to understand which marketing activities and tactics drive key business outcomes
•    Create strategy recommendations based on rigorous, fact-based analysis
•    Foster collaboration across functions and geographies, and project management and coordination to ensure successful implementation of key analytics priorities.    

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, results-oriented leader with at least 7 years of progressively responsible business experiences and a proven track record answering complex strategic questions based on rigorous empirical analysis.  S/he is equally comfortable interacting with senior executives and taking a hands-on approach to analysis and problem-solving.  S/he possesses the following attributes:
•    Strategic thinker, with a focus on driving outcomes
•    Strong collaborator with ability to achieve results through influence
•    Demonstrated experience in analytics, strategy development, and project management
•    Quick learner with common sense and good judgement 
•    Comfortable working in evolving environment and leading change
•    Ability to infer causal impact of marketing strategies and execution using experimental design and valid statistical models 
•    Proficiency with SQL, SAS, SPSS, or R preferred
•    Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
