Company Description

The Digital Solutions (DS) group in Visa CEMEA has the mandate to expand Visa's operational scope beyond traditional clients  and products by implementing Tokenization in 17 markets of CISSEE sub-region - both for card-present (NFC contactless) and card-not-present (eCommerce) payments.These initiatives will be managed by the Tokenization Implementation Manager, CISSEE.

Based in Kiev, the Tokenization Implementation Manager for CISSEE role holder must possess a blend of business, technical, project management and relationship management skills to ensure successful implementation of Visa’s digital innovation-related initiatives and programs. The role requires efficient program management of multiple simultaneous project deployments from concept to implementation. The role also includes provision of support to Visa Client Banks and maintaining co-operation with third parties like 3PPs, IPSP, online merchants, mobile network operators (MNO), solution and host system vendors, payment network operators etc. The role holder will be required to interface / collaborate closely with cross functional Visa teams in Kiev, Moscow, Dubai and other Visa hubs.

Job Description

The role holder will serve as a Visa Token Service (VTS) Program Implementation Manager for both card-present (CP) and card-not-present (CNP) payment programs in CIS & SEE sub-region.

The role should focus on key emerging payment products and technologies including, but not limited to:

  • Contact EMV chip, contactless (Visa payWave);

  • NFC/Proximity and Remote Mobile payments; Issuer and Third-party mobile payment applications (wallets), including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google/Android Pay;

  • EMV Contactless payment acceptance with NFC mobile devices;

  • Visa Token Service (VTS) and tokenization for NFC payments in mobile applications / wallets, mass transit, etc;

  • CNP Tokenization: Tokenization in eCommerce, including Card-On-File (COF) Tokenization, Internet of Things (IoT), Push Payments and other CNP payment areas;

  • Visa Checkout, Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) and Visa Digital Commerce Platform (VDCP);

  • Visa Identification and Authentication services, including 3DSecure/VbV, VCAS;

  • Visa Risk Products (VAA, VRM etc.);

  • Visa Developer Platform and other API-based services with focus on mobile- and token-based services;

  • Other relevant emerging payment trends and solutions.

Qualifications

Required Competencies and Skills

·         Strong domain knowledge & prior implementation experience in Digital Products & technology solutions (in at least two of four key areas: Contactless/EMV Chip, Mobile, eCommerce, Tokenization)

·         Excellent skills and experience in project/program management

·         Development and preparation of product presentations, project reports and management level briefs including the ability to deliver presentations and trainings internally and externally

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Excellent presentation and public speaking skills

·         Creative thinking and innovative solution development

·         Excellent client relationship and management skills; board level meetings experience is a plus

·         Strong market insights

·         Solid interpersonal skills and an ability to work with cross functional teams

·         Self-directed and motivated

·         Excellent time management skills and ability to achieve goals with minimal management oversight; self-directed and motivated

·         Travel: the role holder must have the ability to travel frequently

·         Language Skills: English, Russian and Ukrainian (verbal and written) are mandatory. Working knowledge of other CIS languages or Serbo-Croatian would be a plus

Education: Engineering degree preferred,  business degree acceptable

 Experience:

  • Preferred Experience digital solutions; retail banking/financial services sector; consumer card business (4-5 years of experience)

  • 2-3 years of project management experience

  • Experience in leading meetings and effectively delivering training presentations to industry audiences

  • Extremely high value on direct exposure to emerging market payment solutions & advanced understanding of payments systems, chip/contactless, ecommerce, digital payments and mobile  technologies

  • High value on direct exposure to banking processing systems, deep knowledge of authorization, clearing and settlement processes

Additional Information

 

  • This role demands an individual with a mix of technical, managerial and communication skills. Because the underlying products and services delivered by Visa in the chip, contactless, tokenization and mobile areas necessarily involve complex technologies and security systems, the role holder must have a high degree of familiarity with payment,  banking and VisaNet technologies.

  • For very diverse 17 markets of CIS/SEE, multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management are important, including the ability to work effectively within CEMEA, between regions and with Worldwide Visa Staff
