Job Description

Position Overview

This Implementation role is for a skilled project manager, who is up for the challenging of deploying global products at the regional level. This role will need navigate the complexities of deploying a global product taking into account regional and country level nuances. He or She will need to be able to present concepts and status updates to various levels (from senior management to Operational teams) across AP and CEMEA geographies, and strive get buy in from the various stakeholders.

The role also has a strong input into product direction through frequent interaction and liaison with the Product Office and sales teams. We are looking for a team player, who can help drive results in implementation but also ensure smooth transaction to support post implementation.

Responsibilties

  • Provide project management support to Visa client institutions for business solutions implementation projects and exceed client expectations.
  • Coordinate directly with client to analyze requirements to implement business solutions products and services to support the business and formulate implementation solutions.
  • Confidently manage client projects in parallel to product developments and a changing landscape.
  • Provide initial production support for emerging products until readiness for hand over to general support.
  • Report client project accomplishments and deliverables to management on weekly or monthly basis.
  • Build and enhance positive working relationships with key Visa client institutions, processors and internal stakeholders.
  • Build a cohesive global workgroup and involve those global workgroups in communications and decision making.
  • Represent client system and operational requirements to internal Visa organizations. Constantly create good functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, by being able to speak confidently and having a professional demeanor.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and issues logs.
  • Be accountable for delivering agreed objectives. Be responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and ensure delivery on commitments.
  • Assume appropriate decision-making authorities to ensure flawless execution of project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to improve team efficiencies and project delivery to clients.
  • This position requires off scheduled work including late evenings / weekends in support of client and company configuration changes and associated post-production validation.

 

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION
    • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from an accredited university.
  • KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
    • 5-8 years’ professional experience in in a Project Management function deploying global products at a regional level.
  • SKILLS / ABILITIES
    • Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills are essential
    • Able to set priorities, influence others, and manage customer expectations
    • Demonstrated success in customer relationship management
    • Good analytical skills, not just for problem analysis, but to use technical acumen for reviewing appropriateness of technical or project documents and in integrating systems solutions
    • Willingness to take on new challenges, explore new ideas and be flexible with changing priorities to bring new products into implementation phrase.
    • Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills are require
    • Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
