We are looking for a talented and self driven senior developer to be part of our App Services Engineering team !

• Being a Senor Developer, this engineer would be responsible for Design, architect and implement solutions for our Non-Prod infrastructure management tools and processes with high quality standards.
• Design, implement and develop world-class software for Cloud components. Marshall “industry coding standards”, design patterns and practices within Visa
• Implement and develop world-class software for Cloud components by auto provisioning systems, host to storage integration and “zero touch” installation of software components.
• Build tools to improve operational efficiency of cloud infrastructure in all areas of Infrastructure Automation i.e. Provisioning, Scaling, Availability, Upgrade, Maintenance, Security and Governance
• Coding for auto provisioning and administration of applications on IaaS and PaaS.
• Work within a highly-skilled team along with Engineering Managers to determine methods and procedures on new automation assignments.
• Evaluate “Proof of Concepts” based on Long Term Architecture and pilot new tools & technologies.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced team members. Review and evaluate codes developed by junior members to ensure we develop only highest-quality code.

Required skills

• Bachelor Degree with minimum 7+  years of experience in Software Development preferably in Tools Development.
• Extensive experience in design & development of applications on multiple platforms (Linux and Windows), using Open Source products and cloud technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate the logic and implementation plan to team members & managers across locations is key.
• Strong Software Engineering background is required with development knowledge in multi-tier enterprise architecture.
• Strong coding experience in two or more programming languages Java scripts, Java,  Angular.js, Node.js etc.
• Experience with open source tools and modules for testing, integration & deployment.
• Understanding of Infrastructure components like Systems, Virtual Machines, Database, Middleware, Storage, Containers etc.
• Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, developing comprehensive test and quality plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Experience of having performed a migration and integration involving different infrastructure components will be a definite advantage.
• Should have strong knowledge on core java concepts, oops, design patterns.
• Should have 4-5 year of experience in Java/J2EE( minimum 1 year of experience in JDK 1.8 and should be comfortable with its features )
• Should have good problem solving skills, data structure and algorithms.
• Good exposure with SOAP and REST web service[consume and expose ].
• Good experience of Junit and Test driven development.
• Basic knowledge of Spring and Spring MVC required.
• Should be comfortable in writing SQL queries.
• Prior experience in working on Infrastructure related projects or Tools Development is a big advantage.
