Job Description

The Visa Commerce Solutions group – which includes Visa Commerce Network, Visa Advertising Solutions, Visa Offers Platform, and Visa Loyalty Platform Services – uses Visa’s highly valuable data and technology to drive commerce for merchants across the globe. Through the Visa Commerce Network, consumers earn rewards like Uber credits for shopping or dining at their favorite merchants. Other platforms, such as Visa Advertising Solutions, utilize Visa’s data to provide valuable insights and targeting capabilities for merchants based on consumer spend behavior, while the Visa Offers Platform and Visa Loyalty Platform Services power the backend of some of your favorite card-linked offer programs throughout the world.

As a Senior Designer on the Visa Commerce Solutions team, you will help create and improve consumer applications for both web and mobile experiences, helping our business partners bring our products and solutions to life, from pre-sales mock-ups to post-launch product enhancements and improved UX experiences.

• 5+ years of experience in Visual Design/UX or related professional work

• B.S./B.A degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Expert in industry standard design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).

• An outstanding creative portfolio demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative digital design solutions for web and mobile

• Passionate about creating great user experiences to the point of obsession

• Self-starter who is comfortable with minimal day-to-day guidance, expertly manages time and independently manages competing, simultaneous projects and deadlines

• A strong working knowledge of brand identity management, digital marketing and the creative process as well as user-centered experience design

• Demonstrated visual design development in computer and mobile platforms (iOS and Android)

• Able to collaborate with business partners and build upon their vision using sound UX principles

• Understanding of design techniques and principals involved in the production of conceptual prototypes and wireframes

• Proven ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process.

• Management experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Design supporting materials and engaging user experience on web and mobile for all of the products within Visa Commerce Solutions (Card-linked offers, Visa Advertising Solutions, Rewards Redemption, and Visa Commerce Network).

• Produce wireframes, visual designs, style guides and pattern libraries.

• Collaborate with product owners to develop and realize a vision for next generation of mobile products.

• Take ideas and concepts, and translate them into world class designs for IOS and Android mobile products that effectively meet the needs of internal leaders, partners and most of all, the customers.

• Mentor and manage junior staff, and provide guidance and oversight to their work.

• Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively.
