Job Description

Visa North America team is seeking a seasoned recruiting and talent leader to oversee full-cycle recruiting and talent development efforts for the region.  The right candidate for this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a bias for setting strategy and strong implementation to drive business results. RESPONSIBILITIES

Define Recruiting Strategy

  • Develop a robust North America professional hiring strategy, plan, actions and manage direct and cross functional resources to achieve business success
  • Ensure understanding of the business and talent needs to set strategy, drive innovative sourcing approaches, ensure top notch candidate experience and recruiting yields
  • Dive into data and analytics to glean Recruiting insights and learnings and modify approach as needed real time
  • Fulfill company Diversity & Inclusion priorities and ensure hiring managers and recruiters are driving top talent

Strong Client Partnership

  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand their business strategy and talent mapping across professional hiring

  • Partner with senior leaders for full-cycle recruiting efforts for critical senior roles, including identifying capability and knowledge requirements,  sourcing a diverse slate of candidates, establishing valid candidate assessment processes and facilitating the offer process
  • Achieve exceptional levels of client and partner satisfaction and serve as the face of recruiting to ensure client oriented recruiting experience and process
  • Provide direction and consultation to the management team on strategic and emerging staffing trends
  • Strong partner with community groups, local organizations, associations to drive proactive pipeline of top talent to Visa

Execute on Recruiting Strategy to Hire Top Talent

  • Leverage deep recruiting knowledge to develop plans to attract top talent
  • Manage/build/develop a team of 5-7 high performing recruiters
  • Participate in related programs and process improvement projects as a talent consultant to build and deliver best-in-class Talent Acquisition services
  • Develop creative approaches to ensure focus on internal mobility for current employees and maintain a quarterly event/program to drive awareness of career opportunities at Visa
  • Build high trust relationships with internal and external clients and partners
  • Maintain integrity and upkeep of functional recruiting systems and processes while supporting new tools and efficiency opportunities
  • Track and analyze talent acquisition metrics to monitor and improve performance
  • Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory and legal requirements

 

Qualifications

 

  • 12+ years of recruiting experience for a search firm, agency or in-house talent acquisition team with demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition
  • Ability to develop results-driven recruiting strategies for sourcing, evaluation and selection of talent
  • Demonstrated success in managing and collaborating with teams (direct and indirect) and drive projects to deliver results under tight deadlines in a matrix organization
  • Ability to coach and mentor his/her team
  • Thought leader in sourcing, recruitment methodologies and tools
  • Proven expertise in customer relationship management
  • Strong consultative skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Possess sound business ethics and show consistency between principles, values and behaviors
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects and to successfully handle multiple demands simultaneously
  • Exceptional interviewing, communication, organization and problem solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization (executive, professional, administrative)
  • Team-orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
