Job Description

Position Summary

The role of Senior Program Manager in Identity & Risk Products will manage day-to-day product related activities, develop enhancements to these products, and develop new offerings in the risk, fraud and authentication space. The Senior Product Manager will evaluate potential product opportunities, develop product proposals, write business requirements, oversee the development, perform testing and supervise production implementations and monitoring. He/she will contribute to the product vision and delivery, feature prioritization, and product operations.

He/she will be a key member of Visa issuers’ Clearinghouse Service (ICS) and Prepaid Clearinghouse Service (PCS), a product that help issuers to assess potential risk during the origination of the new accounts or through the account lifecycle. With ICS and PCS, issuers can open new accounts and maintain existing accounts with more certainty, which improves profitability.  The area of fraud prevention and authentication is growing rapidly in the US that is why this position will significantly help in the growth of the business through enhancements, new business requirements, testing and production implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead collaborative development and oversee execution of short-term, intermediate, and long-term strategic plans for Visa’s new risk and authentication products

  • Manage product development lifecycle from business requirements, review of the designs and estimates, oversee development and conduct testing

    • Develop necessary documentation for product work flows and product enhancements to support product development

    • Work closely with testing groups to ensure successful and timely client product launches by providing subject matter expertise

    • Evaluate client needs to ensure relevant product enhancements are developed to meet existing and future needs of clients

  • Manage program budget and ensure ongoing management of the products such as:

    • Ongoing verification of SLA’s

    • Ongoing analysis of compliance

    • Analysis of the ICS and PCS responses

    • Monitor product performance using data analysis and present results of analysis to clients and other key stakeholders

    • Manage implementations with new or existing issuers and processors to ensure successful and on-time implementations

    • Identify potential issues and opportunities within the existing process and develop recommendations to improve performance.  Provide technical support and consultation to issuers, processors and vendors as needed

    • Manage implementations and relationships with different vendors/partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required preferably in the technical field (Computer Engineering)

  • 10+ years of experience working in product development and management areas

  • 5+ years of experience working with risk products and data management. Prior experience with Visa ICS and PCS a strong plus

  • MS Office – Advanced user of Powerpoint, Excel and Word, Visio Diagrams

  • Ability to use and create SQL queries
