The marketing function has overall responsibility to drive Visa transactions. Also leads the communications strategy, planning and implementation of all global, regional and local 3-D marketing programs in support of marketing strategies and objectives in all brand, product, client and innovation platforms. Job Description

This is a marketing manager role responsible for co-marketing strategies and plans in partnerships with issuers to develop issuance and usage initiatives and drive consumer brand preference in Panama.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Identify marketing opportunities with issuers and develop co-marketing strategies and programs to drive increased Visa business

  • Oversee all aspects of co-marketing plans, including promotions, events marketing communications, sponsorships/partnerships, online marketing, and sales support for Panama.

  • Define product/service positioning and messaging strategy in co-marketing plans to ensure consistent application across all components of the marketing mix.

  • Identify actionable consumer insights and opportunities via research programs.

  • Participate in client facing issuer pitch presentations and develop marketing plans as required.

  • Build and enhance relationships across the organization including Sales, Product, Finance, and Legal to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and plans.

  • Reimagine the use of Visa’s key sponsorship assets, FIFA, NFL and the Olympic Games, working side by side with issuers and merchants.

  • Define the Social Media strategy bringing your knowledge and creativity to look for innovative ways to capitalize our social, digital and mobile channels with our clients

    Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Demonstrated track record of developing marketing strategies based on business objectives and executing marketing programs that delivered measurable business results.

  • Experience managing and motivating external advertising, promotional, and marketing communications agency partners.

  • Written and verbal communication skills and able to present with impact in English and Spanish.

  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance including ROI and accurately forecasting sources of cost, revenue and risk with an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making.

  • Demonstrated teamwork and relationship-building skills.

  • Advanced planning, organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Exceptional project management with proven ability to drive consensus in cross regional and cross-functional teams.

  • 5+ years of brand and trade marketing experience, preferably in a multi-national company or financial institution

  • Experience working with the Panama market is preferred.
