Job Description

The AP Hub Consumer Marketing team leads the consumer marketing activities for the AP region and is responsible for deploying successful direct to consumer marketing programs across the entire brand funnel and media ecosystem.

The scope will provide hands on experience in helping Visa achieve its ambition of being the ‘World’s most creative and impactful data driven marketer’ via the use of data, insights, content and includes promoting Visa’s new digital and social platforms [including Visa.com] which are critical to ensuring that Visa remains engaging and relevant in the digital world.

a) Visa.com : A global brand platform that is designed to showcase Visa as the clear leader in payment technology and drive more consumers to choose and use Visa, more merchants to accept and value Visa, and more clients and partners to take advantage of Visa’s global reach.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide support in global and regional content rollout efforts for Visa.com.
  • Support in execution of rollout plans in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing site performance through Google Analytics.

b) Owned social media channels : Social media channels are a key platform for Visa to connect with our audience and build brand preference, specifically amongst the millennials.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the audit of Visa’s social media channels to check for brand activity levels on the platforms, consistency of brand representation, quality of content posted, user engagement with the content etc.
  • Analyze social media channels of other brands within the category and brands targeting millennials to gather best practice
  • Help build Visa’s social media channel approach incl. defining role of different social media channels, in telling a cohesive and engaging brand story for Visa across AP markets.

Qualifications

What are we looking for in a Polytechnic Trainee?

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications and New Media, or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Interest in digital/social media environment and communications
  • A keen interest in understanding consumers and consumer insights
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel
