Visa’s Global Engineering Recruiting team is focused on delivering best-in-class recruiting services to our Engineering teams on the leading edge of revolutionizing global payment technology. We are looking for a Global Recruiting Director for Software Engineering.  This proven recruiting leader will be a part of the Global Engineering Recruiting Leadership team and will report to the VP, Global Technology Recruiting.  This leader will create and drive the recruiting strategies globally for our software engineering teams, partnering with the teams that were on the forefront of technologies.

The Global Recruiting Director, Software Engineering will:

  • Leverage deep recruiting knowledge to create and execute innovative global engineering recruiting strategies focused on hiring top talent to drive the next generation of payment technology

  • Drive deep partnerships with engineering leaders to understand their business strategy, engineering roadmap and talent needs

  • Act as the recruiting site lead for a Visa site, driving key strategic initiatives and serving as a key point of contact

  • Manage, develop and inspire a team of high performing engineering recruiters

  • Partner with engineering management for full-cycle recruiting efforts for critical senior engineering roles

  • Participate in related programs and process improvement projects

  • Create, drive, track and analyze recruiting metrics to both drive strategy and measure performance

  • Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory and legal requirements

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall engineering recruiting experience, with a minimum of 5 years of product development engineering/software recruiting experience.  

  • Minimum of 5 years of in-house engineering recruiting management experience, with a proven track record of hiring, developing, motivating and inspiring an engineering recruiting team. 

  • Proven track record of developing and executing against innovative global engineering recruiting strategies

  • Proven track record of implementing best practices and driving change across organizations

  • Passion for hiring top engineering talent

  • Ability to foster trust, influence, coach and guide engineering teams and leaders

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects and to successfully handle multiple demands simultaneously

  • Be knowledgeable about emerging tech recruiting trends

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
