Job Description

Summary

The role of Marketing Director, Hong Kong reports into Head of Marketing, HK, and is responsible for managing Visa-led marketing campaigns for both consumer and client activations, as well as sponsorship activation.  
Work with regional and cross border marketing teams in terms of strategy planning, resource integration, research and measurement to ensure marketing management liaising with global and regional directions.

Responsibilities
•    Support Visa Hong Kong business priorities and continuous business growth
•    Work with Head of Marketing, HK to develop and implement Visa Hong Kong’s marketing strategy, and deliver business KPIs and compliance requirements; lead plan executions.  Deliver marketing best practice to create a “Go Beyond” marketing and media culture
•    Manage our key partnership with agencies from strategy, plan development, channel planning and data analysis to push our marketing evolution upstream specially in digital and social fields
•    Lead and implement the marketing strategy covering consumer and client fields with good balance.  Responsible for transferring consumer campaign into client activation module
•    Work closely with the AP hub team regularly on brand and initiative direction, business measurement, consumer research and financial; ensure local marketing initiatives in line with global and regional directions
•    Manager all Sponsorship related activations
•    Local client marketing focal for issuer, merchant and partners for all aspects co-marketing promotions
•    Inspire, coordinate, and motivate local agency partners deliver best in class marketing programs
•    Work closely with other functional groups to achieve country goals
•    Manage timelines and coordinate support resources from the development/host agency for deliverables
•    Ensure compliance and process correctness of Visa Hong Kong marketing department adhere to Visa key controls and brand standards.

Qualifications

• A minimal 10 years marketing experience in the FMCG, retail, digital economy, technology service or financial industry.
• Education: Bachelors’ or business/marketing or related field with marketing foundation; MBA is a plus.

• Demonstrated track record of planning, managing marketing initiative launches
• Proven understanding of Hong Kong media environment specially on digital and social territories
• Proven track record managing agency partners and 3rd party technical vendors
• Strong project management skills focusing on quality of execution, delivery and compliance
• Strong business sense and ownership with focus on measurable results
• Demonstrated track record of analytical skills and data led strategy formulation
• Excellent time management skills and ability to achieve goals with minimal management oversight
• Good client management skills

• Significant experience in marketing with a strong brand management and brand communication
