Job Description

Position Summary
The Senior Director – Head of Marketing, Hong Kong, will be a change maker in driving the leadership of Visa brand in Hong Kong, leading the marketing team to develop and execute locally relevant consumer, client and merchant programs that deliver on Visa Hong Kong’s Marketing objectives of driving brand preference through different programs.
Key to Visa’s marketing agenda is the ability to use insight and data driven approach to identify business opportunity, drive Visa transactions, and grow revenues that helps transform Visa business through the planning and effective implementation & tracking of marketing strategies for Visa Brand, Products, Digital, Sponsorships and Promotion Partners across key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
•    Serve as the brand & marketing steward in Hong Kong, ensuring our brand is always presented in alignment with brand vision and purpose
•    Inspire, lead and guide creative data-driven, multi-channel marketing & communication strategies in ways that resonate with our target audiences and achieve desired results
•    Lead Visa Hong Kong marketing strategy development, marketing campaign including media plan execution, digital partnership and engagement, and social strategy and execution.  Deliver marketing best practice to create a “Go Beyond” marketing and media culture  
•    Oversee Visa Hong Kong marketing function operations; lead Visa Hong Kong marketing department to deliver business KPIs and compliance requirements
•    Support Visa Hong Kong business priorities and continuous business growth; work closely with other functional groups to achieve country goals
•    Manage key partnership with agency partners from strategy, plan development, channel planning and data analysis to push our marketing evolution upstream specially in digital and social fields; Inspire, coordinate, and motivate local agency partners and direct report to deliver best in class marketing programs
•    Work with regional and cross border marketing teams in terms of strategy planning, resource integration, research and measurement to ensure marketing management liaising with global and regional directions.
•    Local client marketing focal for issuer, merchant and  partners for all aspects co-marketing  promotions
•    Lead and implement the marketing strategy covering consumer and client fields with good balance.
•    Work closely with the AP hub team regularly on brand and initiative direction,  business measurement and financial tracking
•    Ensure compliance and process correctness of Visa Hong Kong marketing department adhere to Visa key controls and brand standards

Qualifications

•    A minimal 15 years marketing experience in the FMCG, retail, digital economy, technology service or financial industry
•    Education: Bachelors’ or business/marketing or related field with marketing foundation; MBA is a plus
•    Demonstrable experience in leadership across a matrix organization, and a true passion for the business
•    Experience and record of success in senior marketing roles, management in fast-paced environment

•    Demonstrated track record of planning, managing marketing initiative launches
•    Proven understanding of Hong Kong media environment specially on digital and social territories
•    Proven track record managing agency partners and 3rd party technical vendors
•    Strong consultative skills to establish relationships across the broader organization; be viewed as a key contributor to Visa strategy and execution of Visa’s vision
•    Ability to build consensus and influence a broad set of constituencies
•    Strong B2B skills
•    Strong project management skills focusing on quality of execution, delivery and compliance
•    Strong business sense and ownership with focus on measurable results
•    Demonstrated track record of analytical skills and data led strategy formulation
•    Excellent time management skills and ability to achieve goals with minimal management oversight
