The role of CEMEA Senior Travel Analyst, based in Dubai, requires an experienced travel leader that can work proactively to improve the Visa Travel Program in CEMEA which has a scope of 10 countries.  9 countries are serviced out of travel centers in Dubai and South Africa while Egypt is serviced within country. Analyst must be a good communicator with a solid understanding of travel technology, change management and customer service with respect to corporate travel.

This role will require collaboration with both Travel Arrangers and Executive Management to engage, educate and elaborate on our travel initiatives in a positive and concise manner. Analyst will work in conjunction with the Global Travel Team to align all processes and service metrics as well as oversee Visa’s outsourced travel management company (TMC).

Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Foremost ensuring the CEMEA Travel Program offers the most consistent and efficient travel services in compliance with our T&E policy

·        Provides insight and develops initiatives to continually improve the Global Travel Team and the travel agency services on customer service and travel cost management

·        Partners with key internal stakeholders to provide needed support on the travel program while also supporting the various business units

·        Ability to work strategically to improve online adoption, improve cost savings and efficiencies of the travel booking process

·        Manages travel behavior through travel data and has strong insight to determine the best course of action to improve the travel program

·        Fosters positive and deep partnerships with internal and external customers

·        Supports Sr. Director in launching initiatives and processes in the region

·        Monitors SLAs for TMC and vendors and if needed, determine remediation plans

·        Ability to work both independently but as part of a larger global team in order to set objectives and results

·        Strong travel technology knowledge, such as implementation, customizations and support

·        Experienced in change-management and project leadership

·        Strong focus on customer service to  exceed normal satisfaction levels from both the Global Travel Team and our contracted vendors

·        Strong vendor management skills including negotiation agency, car, hotel and online booking tool RFPs, bid process, scoring and on boarding of vendors

·        Strong verbal skills to articulate and communicate complex booking processes to end users

·        Advanced knowledge of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) IQAnalytics, CWT Portrait, Resolve, Get There, Concur and MS Office Suite

Leadership skills to proactively educate end users on travel compliance and policy adoption
