Job Description

Oversee all aspects of the company's recruitment talent attraction efforts to maintain a consistent supply of qualified, diverse and talented candidates including;

  • Develop, launch and oversee new fully integrated recruitment marketing strategy, aligned to Visa’s workforce plans, diversity and inclusion initiatives and employment value proposition including: paid and earned media via social and search, events/collateral, career website and metrics.

  • Diversify our digital portfolio including: core/ foundational media for active and passive talent (career site remarketing and prospecting, social job sites, sponsored jobs, incorporate pay per click to optimize spend to shift with needs, search engine marketing, paid social amplification), job boards/ niche sites, diversity / compliance,  campaigns for critical needs, new and emerging media) 

  • Collaborate with internal and external design partners, stakeholders, subject-matter experts and vendors to create and deliver talent attraction strategies and deployment plans

  • Develop annual talent attraction plans (Global Enterprise and Geo/Local)

  • Monitor and manage talent attraction investments/ ROI; present regular reports to all stakeholders on key recruiting metrics including: applicant pipeline development, applicant flow, channel conversion, fill rates, etc

  • Manage the company’s impressions and interactions with potential and future hires, using technology to organize, automate and synchronize the attraction and communication with potential talent, including improving destination experience for Visa job seekers to help drive better conversion rates

  • Identify and evaluate changing external market and impacts on recruiting— assess new competitive activity and competitor capabilities including developing points of view on implied strategies, market factors, economic conditions, competitor insights, analyze / interpret data and help fine tune marketing strategy and develop action plans in response to these trends

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leaders, Recruiters and Sourcers to:

  • Know global workforce plans and hiring goals to shape geo/local strategies

  • Understand candidate insights and apply learning to frame up implications to employment brand growth strategies

  • Share best practices across the talent acquisition team and educate and drive tool usage  (i.e. linked recruiter, etc)

  • Research and pilot new / emerging technologies/ talent attraction channels

  • Develop strategies for nurturing and managing passive candidates, building qualified pools of quality “at the ready” talent

  • Ensure talent attraction practices are compliant with local laws in each country

  • Help enable a sales and marketing mindset and toolkit for recruiting at Visa

  • Keep talent attraction leaders informed and accountable to measurable results aligned with key recruitment marketing campaigns, initiatives and Visa business objectives

Vendor & Program Management

  • Employee Referral Program:  Global oversight and optimization

  • External Recruitment Agencies:  Manage new vendor set up, evaluation of performance and spend review

  • Research and source vendors, manage relationships, evaluate vendor performance; develop vendor scorecards, set KPIs, ensure SLAs to optimize performance

  • Manage global talent attraction vendor/ supplier contracts, annual budget planning, payments and coordination with Visa communications team (i.e. glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc)

Employment Brand

  • Partner with Visa Employer Brand communications and marketing teams to ensure optimization of talent attraction strategy and reinforcement of employment brand messaging across all candidate touch points, and work collaboratively to constantly evolve recruitment brand library (media, creative and collateral).

  • Engage with the Visa Talent Community, and contribute to the development of relevant materials and information to support hiring process and Visa’s recruitment brand equity

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing / product marketing, advertising, journalism or other related discipline, or equivalent education and experience

  • 5+ years in Marketing/Communications/Advertising with relevant brand and/or category experience; payments and/or technology preferred

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience with design, development and management of innovative global talent attraction and recruitment marketing strategies

  • Demonstrated Program/ Project Management

  • Ability to create high-impact reports, presentations, and briefings

     

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lead generation, partnering with Sales organizations and defining global go-to-market strategy to strategically drive revenue are a plus

  • Understanding of recruiting best practices, innovative sourcing strategies/ tools and experience with recruiting technologies - Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are a plus

  • DCMP, Google AdWords / Advertising, HubSpot Inbound, Facebook Blueprint, HootSuite Social Media Marketing, PMP, PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications and coursework are a plus
