We’re looking for an Employee Communications Manager with the right mix of creativity, project management and writing skills to implement and execute internal communications plans that drive culture, engagement and connection to Visa’s strategic priorities, especially in the areas of payment products, innovation and social impact.

The Manager, Employee Communications, will devise programs, initiatives and communications to support Visa’s Global Product Organization to help employees understand the goals, programs, processes, organizational structure and vision of senior leadership. This role will also support the implementation and execution of internal communications plans for Visa’s Social Impact organization, which includes the Visa Foundation, financial inclusion, corporate social responsibility and employee community involvement:
Create a steady stream of content across multiple channels that helps employees understand what is happening within their business unit and in the broader Visa organization
Manage an ongoing communications calendar
Partner closely with colleagues driving external communications to ensure message alignment and consistency - and to generate new content ideas
Assist regional communicators to support effective execution of communication strategies in markets
Develop content on an ongoing basis for Visa's global employee intranet around business unit news, launches, organizational changes, employee spotlights, etc.
Plan and execute internal events including all-staff meetings, speaker series programs and other employee engagement events
Monitor employee engagement through pulse research efforts and work with the business to develop strategies to address issues identified in the survey
Support other key employee communications initiatives based on business and resource needs
Reports to Senior Director of Global Employee Communications
What You Bring to the Role
B.A./B.S. degree in marketing, public relations, English, communications or related discipline.
5+ years of marketing, public relations or communications experience. Previous agency experience preferred.
Stellar verbal and written communication skills. It’s your forte!
Experience program managing, developing comms plans and content calendars across multiple platforms.
"Hands-on" team player with outstanding project management and execution skills. You get it done.
Self-starter, who is nimble, flexible and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly
Curious and passionate about product and technology, an early adopter who likes to evangelize innovation.
Upstanding character, leadership, consistent execution and commitment to success.
Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
Keen attention to detail, polish and presentation.
