• Owns the full product lifecycle of merchant repository core services through operations
• Mature operations services framework and service levels for merchant repository services
• Serve as the business owner who signs off on merchant data coverage and acceptance across global markets
• Lead cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, data operations and infrastructure
• Promote the value and adoption of standardized merchant data to stakeholders and users both internally and in market
• Partner with external business entities for data sharing and usage arrangements (e.g., data vendors, Visa clients, third-party data sources)
• Identify new opportunities and uses of standardized merchant data to improve Visa client’s business and the Visa payment ecosystem

• 10+ years of hand-on experience with data with 5+ years working with data about merchants including business identification and firmographics
• 5+ years experience working closely with or within merchant operations within Acquires/Processors
• Demonstrated experience sourcing business data globally from traditional and non-traditional sources
• Working knowledge of merchants acceptance of Visa payment though clearing and settlement and dispute resolution
• Strong communications skills spanning broad audiences from non-technical business executives through technical operation engineers
• Working knowledge of Global Data Privacy Regulations and awareness of different global privacy policies
• Strong product management process discipline and analytic, fact-based decision making
• Strong collaboration with technology with the ability to understand technical approaches and tradeoffs
• Hands-on skills to query underlying databases within Hadoop and RBDS
