Job Description
Develop innovative solutions to protect the Visa brand,
networks, assets and products by implementing state-the-art detection,
prevention, and response capabilitiesEngage in technical design of solutions based on use cases and
business requirementsParticipate in proof of concepts and other technical evaluations
of technologies, designs and solutionsStay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively assess and
evaluate the adoption thereof into the organizationDemonstrate technical mastery and be an inspirational leader and
mentor who continuously develops the competencies of him/herself and othersReduce time-to-detect and time-to-remediate by driving the
automation of applied threat intelligence and sensor enrichmentDevelop and expand API framework to interconnect Security Tools
Qualifications
Domain expertise of network security sensors: IDS, cloud
security access broker , DDOS protections , Open DNS etcNetwork technologies Routers, switches, Load Balancers etc
Exposure to Cloud technolgies and implementataion like AWS, AZure etc
Solid proficiency with Linux (or similar) operating systems
In depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols,
Experience with PKI, SSL, SSH, HHTPS etc
Knowledge of Restful web services (client – server application)
Python scripting, Automation skills, Dev Ops skills etc.
System admin - Red Hat Linux/Unix, Windows – Basic knowledge is
mandatorySoftware development domain and principles, including design
patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration (Git),
continuous deployment (Travis/Jenkins), and deployment orchestration (Chef,
puppet, or equivalent)Experience with open-source software security sensors ( Bro IDS,
Suricata, Snort, Molach etc)Experience with network protocols and deep packet inspection
Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Cyber security
Minimum 2 years of experience in tuning of network sensors like
IDS/IPS, DDOS, CASBMinimum Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited
institution.SANS or other industry leading security certifications in
network security or cloud Security
