Job Description

The Senior Director CRM will be responsible for developing, managing and achieving Visa’s medium and long-term strategy for the mapped set of clients in India.  The primary objective for this role will be to deliver a superior value proposition to Visa's clients and drive overall growth, profitability, performance and operation of assigned account. Position would be leading one of the Sales Centers of Excellence to expand Visa’s client base & business in India.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen Visa’s equity with key clients.
  • Lead the development and delivery of Visa's value proposition through a client partnership model that offers a combination of the right team, best insights and efficient decision-making.
  • Understand our client's strategies, priorities, needs and business processes. Present strategic ideas and share Visa's views on industry developments and dynamics and advise them how Visa products can impact their results.
  • Understand and influence product positioning and pricing of Visa and competitors' products in client's product portfolios.
  • Set and manage the vision and strategy for these important clients in collaboration with internal Visa Inc. stakeholders and the executive teams at the respective clients.
  • Partner with clients to drive their business; develop strategic relationships with the senior management and all decision makers at these client institutions; ensure that Visa's client teams are fully integrated at the business level.
  • Customize delivery of Visa's global capabilities to align with individual client opportunities and priorities.
  • Establish and manage world class account teams and organize them as a cohesive entity to pursue a range of new business opportunities over the short and long term.
  • Lead the analysis, insight and ongoing monitoring of market trends, activities and competitor actions to enable the account teams to develop and implement pre-emptive strategies and build preference for Visa
  • Lead team to source and secure new business opportunities leading to profitable business growth for Visa and its client financial institutions
  • Work closely with the matrix organization managing the global clients in the portfolio to ensure that the strategies for the local market are aligned to the clients’ regional and global strategies and leverage best practices from other markets

Responsibilities

  • Develop and achieve team objectives through initiatives with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Relationship management of key clients and stakeholder
  • Identifying and developing new business development opportunities & relationships. 
    • Direct internal Visa resources and operations in response to specific clients’ opportunities and requests, ensuring service excellence. 
    • Identify new business development/ product opportunities at the group level and then champion, develop and prioritize proposals and sell-in strategies
  • Develop the business development strategies for the associated set of clients and map these strategies into individual team member plans
  • Manage financial performance for the associated set of clients and ensure alignment with global budget process
  • Lead and develop an overall team’s comprehensive and competitive financial incentive deals/package to meet client’s needs which match or exceed competitor offerings
  • Collaborate with internal stake holders to ensure that Visa can excel with partners 

Qualifications

  • Recognized degree in Business Management preferably from premiere institute.
  • 15+ years of experience with related sales and management experience, with a sound knowledge of the card payments industry, its products, services and technologies.
  • Proven ability to negotiate business/commercial agreements and to enhance existing and develop new business partnerships
  • A proven track record of planning, managing and closing complex and competitive sales efforts; results driven execution.
