Job Description

The Director, Digital Remote Payment will be responsible for helping drive the global acceptance strategy for Visa Digital Commerce Program including enablement strategy, goals, rules, and program delivery and commercialization.  The role requires an experienced product and commercial professional who has experience and passion for building and bringing to market products, identify needs, opportunities, gaps, and develop the tactics to bring the program goals to fruition. The Director will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including product, technology, marketing, sales, legal, finance teams, as well as external clients to execute deliverables. The selected candidate will report to the Director, Head of Visa Digital Commerce Program Acceptance.

  • Drive commercialization of Visa's digital remote acceptance strategy (through Gateways/Acquirers/ PSP's and Merchants)
  • Help grow, maintain, and track toward the team's digital acceptance goals
  • Assist in defining Visa’s Digital Commerce Program rules to drive scale globally
  • Support and engage with internal Visa teams/stakeholders to deliver team objectives, develop business case tools, competitor and industry assessments, customized selling materials, operational and contract support, metrics building, etc.
  • Preparing sales strategy and B2B collateral for client meetings, including both Partners (PSPs, Gateways, Acquirers) and large global merchants
  • Look to identify growth opportunities by leveraging data analytics, new product enhancements, cross-border opportunities, and more.
  • Coordinate with global marketing to drive end-to-end consumer engagement & specific B2C and B2B marketing assets needs
  • Support in structuring the commercial and financial framework for the Visa Digital Commerce Program
  • Support high priority partners with solution design support, business architecture and UX best practices to accelerate client program launches, conversion and performance
  • Become SME for Visa's regional / market teams
  • Maintain Visa Playbook up-to date

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum 5-6 years business experience with related product and commercial experience in the mobile, software, hardware or technology services industry
  • Payments or financial services industry experience preferred
  • Strong record of building, planning, managing, and scaling new product / product use cases into market
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Self starter and self motivated, with the ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment
  • Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate through multiple disciplines and organizational groups
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative, and flexible
  • Highly driven individual with a strong passion for building and commercializing products
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including small to large-group presentations (internal and external)
  • Must have attention to detail, and solid organizational and product management skills
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Salesforce and Tableau knowledge a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required
