Job Description
Visa Resolve Online (VROL) is an online dispute resolution application that supports customer service representatives and back office analysts of member banks and partners to manage dispute lifecycle. VROL functions made available through Visa Online via a user interface, a set of web services and through a high-volume batch system interface. VROL is used to research transaction information, process financial exception messages and electronically exchange information and images between member banks as they work through the resolution of a dispute.
As a Software Engineer, you would be a part of a high performance global team responsible for the delivery of features and enhancement in the Visa Resolve Online program. You will analysis, design, program, test solutions to business problems using Java/JEE, JS, Spring, Web Services (SOAP/REST) and database technologies. There will be opportunity to learn and leverage newer technologies to build next generation of dispute management system.
Responsibilities:
Understand business domain, analyze requirements, evaluate options and participate in scoping and sizing activities
Design, develop code, tests and maintain code for Resolve online application releases
Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members including vendor partner teams
Effectively participate in the technology proof-of-concepts and learn new technologies and frameworks
Understand and enhance coding guidelines and participate in code review processes
Create and maintain technical documentation
Collaborate with Requirements & Analysis group, QA team and Production Support team to ensure project alignment
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required
0-3 years of industry experience. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
Strong Core Java skills
Excellent programming and problem solving skills
Expertise in JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, Node js, React JS, Angular JS
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Awareness on WebServices, Spring framework, Jasper Reports, Unix, SQL would be a plus
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently, and effectively communicate with team members
Must be capable of working in all phases of the application system development life-cycle.
