Job Description

Overview

Visa Direct is an exciting, new payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and digital partners) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts in the U.S. and around the world using push payment technology, i.e. Original Credit Transaction (OCT).  Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person to person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business (P2MB) transfer (e.g. payouts to shared economy providers), funds disbursement (e.g. insurance claim disbursements), and more.

The use cases are unlimited, with new opportunities coming to light every day and building up to a goal to attain $ 1 Trillion in payment volume in 5 years. The time is now to build on the tremendous momentum to date, and build a transformative push payments business for the years ahead.

The Strategic Partner Solutions team within Visa Direct leads strategically important engagements with global digital partners that are critical to the growth of Visa Direct globally. These partners are at the leading edge of payments innovation and consequently work that the Strategic Partners Solutions team does, has high visibility and impact within Visa.

Responsibilities

The Product Analyst, Strategic Partner Solutions will contribute to overall Visa Direct Strategic Partner Program execution across multiple partners and multiple regions. Succeeding in this role requires close collaboration with a wide range of cross-functional teams within Visa. The Product Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and updating the pipeline of strategic partner programs within Visa Direct as well as providing reports and updates to management. The role-holder will also engage with internal stakeholders for structuring commercial deals for global digital partners who are planning to rollout innovative payment services using Visa Direct. 

The role-holder should be motivated by contributing to high-profile, complex projects by collaboration with other internal stakeholders. Given the strategic nature of the partners involved and the broad responsibility area of the role, the role-holder will be well-positioned for recognition and development.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operational experience in business management or professional services
  • Experience in business management, including drafting commercial proposals and term sheets, combined with project management skills preferred.
  • Visa and financial/payment industry knowledge as well as person-to-person payments market experience will be considered a strong asset, but is not essential.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with high attention to detail and quality for all work products are essential in this role.  
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to manage cross-functional activities with clarity and energy.
  • Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and frequent changes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s will be advantageous.
