Job Description

JOB SCOPE

Our mission on the Visa FI Acquirer Team is forging and maintaining strategic partnerships with the largest acquirers that help power Visa digital solutions. We believe that by managing and nurturing commercial deals executed with FI Acquirers we achieve the following results:

            1. Enabling these partners to utilize an array of Visa products and services and

            2. We can help them grow their business.

You would serve as a leader of an account team serving as the client's point of contact, and advocate for the client across the Visa organization to achieve mutual success. You would deepen the client relationship and continuously contribute by executing the Visa strategy. We are seeking someone like you who will lead this team, and also be directly accountable for sales results and activities with Financial Institution (FI) Acquirers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • You will be organizing and implementing strategic account planning processes to engage with clients at senior levels
  • Uncovering opportunities and challenges faced by the client, and recognizing those initiatives that solve our mutual business objectives
  • Identifying and deploying Visa resources to address the objectives, and tracking our performance
  • You will prepare and present proposals
  • You will negotiate contractual agreements to expand the scope of Visa products and services
  • You will lead multi-faceted projects including program/product launches, strategy development and implementation of payments innovation
  • You will drive process improvement through analytic approaches and creative solutions

 

Qualifications

 

  • Do you have 10 years of progressively responsible business experience with 5+ years’ experience managing strategic relationships with financial services and technology solution providers?
  • Are you knowledgeable of the payment, risk management and payment security industry, including card, alternative and local payment processing?
  • Are you known for collaborating across function (e.g. product, sales, strategy, marketing) and region?
  • Do you thrive when working independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment?

  • Bachelor’s degree, required; MBA & language skills a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Available to travel up to 50%
