Job Description

The Senior Director, Global Merchant & Acquirer Business Development Strategy will fulfill a critical role in supporting Visa's pricing strategy and business  development initiatives. Responsibilities range from business analysis to managing cross functional initiatives in support of the economic model underlying Visa's products, services, and global payment processing network. The position will be based in Visa's headquarters in Foster City, California.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and prioritize initiatives in support of Visa Inc.'s pricing strategy and business development efforts

-Drive the establishment of debit routing agreements with U.S. retailers and acquirers in partnership with the U.S. sales team - Collaborate with all facets of Visa's business in evaluating and managing rate change opportunities from forecasting and  business case design to stakeholder impact assessment and key partner communication

-Lead business development and revenue model improvement initiatives, including all aspects of project planning, stakeholder impact assessments, pricing, analytics

-Identify new revenue models and enhance existing in both developed and emerging markets to optimize net revenue growth and ensure sustainability of the global business in Visa's more than 200 countries and territories

-Drive various Debit product related initiatives to support the Visa US P&L

-Drive new product commercialization initiatives

-Lead and support business development by assisting all functional areas across Visa's organization, including Sales, Product, Processing, New Market Development and Finance

Qualifications

-10+ years of relevant professional experience

-Payments industry experience is required and candidates should have a strong knowledge of payment network competitive dynamics

-Candidates should have experience in deal structuring and negotiation

-Seasoned professional, with a sound track record of results and with the ability to work and influence multiple stakeholders

-Excels in developing fact based recommendations in support of executive decisions.

-Experience managing complex financial models and analytics related to diverse functional business problems

-Ability to anticipate deliverables and provide guidance and direction to others in attainment of goals and objectives

-Experience in managing, developing and leading employees

-Superior presentation and communication skills

-Strong personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages

-Comfortable interacting with senior executives, both internal and external

-High level of organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects

-Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

-Bachelor's degree from top-tier institution. Master's degree strongly preferred
