Job Description

The goal of the Global Product Portfolio senior director is to manage the complete product technology portfolio and investments across global product.  Oversight across the portfolio includes aligning technology investment’s with the global product roadmap, asses overall portfolio performance across the technology programs, oversee quarterly product performance reviews, and ensure alignment and collaboration across global product and technology teams.  The ideal candidate has a deep expertise in project management and experience with capital planning and agile portfolio management.

Qualifications

Core duties for the role include:

  • Partner with global / regional product and technology teams to align and structure strategic investments within global product.

  • Develop and implement a prioritization framework to manage global product’s technology investments in alignment with the global product roadmap.

  • Track program and product investments performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goals across all global product lines.

  • Partner with technology to ensure technology investments and programs align with overall global product roadmap and business benefits and KPIs.

  • Lead product technology-planning team to provide regular reviews across programs.

  • Provide leadership across product capital planning activities as well as oversee global product annual technology budgeting and planning activities.

  • Oversee quarterly product performance reviews across all global products and evaluate overall progress across product portfolios and product line success.

  • Manage product and technology communications ensuring stakeholders are informed of investment planning, changes, and execution progress across the programs.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in Business, Economics, or related field required

  • 10+ years of project management across complex programs and project

  • Superior analytical, project management, and communication skill

  • Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately

  • Self-starter with strong time management skills, and who can proactively reprioritize their workload as needed to meet the most critical business needs

  • Ability to effectively collect and interpret data from multiple sources with a strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated track record of driving consensus, decision and results through influencing in a highly matrixed business model

  • PMP Certification

  • Experience with process improvement

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, up to and including executive level employees
