Job Description

The goal of the product pricing and rules senior director is to liaise with the global product and pricing teams to develop new and innovative ways to improve the value of Visa’s products and services through strategic pricing across our global products and services.  He/She will be responsible for leading a team to provide insights to the product and sales teams on pricing performance across Visa’s 250+ products and services and support changes as necessary.   This role will also be responsible for developing a long-term view towards Visa’s product rules and standards and work with the global rules team to help identify impacts and support the execution of changes and updates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with global product leaders to develop, improve, and maintain product-pricing strategies across Visa’s global products and services.

  • Research, document and utilize internal and external factors impacting Visa’s current global product pricing strategies

  • Perform regular reviews across pricing performance and maintain overall pricing effectiveness in partnership with global pricing and product teams

  • Identify, validate and quantify pricing improvement opportunities

  • Represent global product throughout Visa’s rule and standards leadership and creation

  • Develop a roadmap for our product rules that helps provide future insights across product rules and enablement.

  • Review and validate product rules and dependences across pricing and market entries

  • Support rule changes and coordinate across global product organization

  • Manage a team of global, business professionals supporting these responsibilities

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BA or BS degree in Business, Economics, or related field required

8+ years of experience in Consulting, Business Analytics & Data Visualization experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Self-starter with strong time management skills, and who can proactively reprioritize their workload as needed to meet the most critical business needs

Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills

Payments Industry experience preferred

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills including developing relationships at all levels in an organization and directly influencing business objectives

Strong team player who is willing to contribute as needed can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion

Strong verbal and written communication skills, up to and including executive level employees

Has great enthusiasm for qualitative research, always serving as an internal and external ambassador.

Effectively articulates our qualitative capabilities, resources, and best practices verbally and in writing.

Excels in developing fact-based recommendations in support of executive decisions

Experience managing complex financial models and analytics to support recommendations
