We believe that great design has the ability to engage and inspire users and we strive to rethink and redefine how users interact with our applications and products.

Our designers are strategic thinkers and conceptual problem solvers who create new products, services and experiences which redefine the way people make and receive payments globally.  

The Role
Visa is looking for a talented UX Product Designer to join our Innovation & Design team. The Designer will play a key role in design driven innovation projects for Visa stakeholders and partners across Asia Pacific.   

What you will do at Visa

  • Lead design workshops with Visa stakeholders and partners from across Asia Pacific 
  • Create working prototypes that communicate the next generation commerce experiences
  • Present design concepts to Senior Leadership and external partners
  • Mentor junior staff, and provide guidance and oversight to their work
  • Using divergent design thinking techniques to products, services and/or physical connected form-factors
  • Bring design to the rest of the Visa business through facilitation and collaboration
  • Travel throughout APAC conducing immersive, qualitative research 

What you could work on:

  • Designing products and services which improve financial literacy in New Zealand 
  • Using wareables, IOT and other technologies to improve payment experiences in Japan
  • Reimagining the payment experience at petrol stations in Singapore
  • Helping online purchases arrive safely and efficiently in Vietnam 
  • Helping small business owners grow their businesses in Australia

Qualifications

What you will need: 

  • 7+ years UX experience within an agency/consultancy or technology focused organization 
  • Strong design portfolio showing world class designs 
  • Experience facilitating workshops and design sessions
  • Demonstrated knowledge in computer and mobile platforms (Apple and Android)
  • Experience translating human insights into UX strategies and solutions
  • Ability to communicate ideas and design decisions effectively
  • Exposure to service design ideal, but not mandatory
