SAS Grid administrator (Linux based grid) with Cloudera Hadoop as backend.

• SAS platform issue fixes - platform and user issues
• Working with SAS Environment Manager covering
  • Creating Dashboards
  • Creating alerts
  • Monitoring
• SAS SPDS administration
• SAS programming and optimization of user programs
• Should be able to write optimized code against Hadoop (Hive, Impala ,HDFS)
• Well versed with PROC DS2
• Metadata Management, Scheduling, and metadata Folders - with SAS Management Console
• SAS development in BI tools
• Implementing SAS User security using metadata, SPDS ACL etc..
• UNIX scripting at least at intermediate level.
• Implementing SAS User security using metadata, SPDS ACL etc..
• Deep understanding of engineering an entire platform including Linux, Networking and infrastructure
• Understanding of working with and manging GPFS based storage

Must have

• Deep understanding of security and integration between SAS Grid and Cloudera Hadoop
• Experience with administering SAS Grid 9.4 or above
• Minimum Base SAS 9 certification
• Working knowledge of LSF as it pertains to the SAS grid
• Experience reading SAS logs to work through problems finding root causes and rectifying.
• Experience working with a large number of demanding users
