Job Description

Join our team and help us achieve our goals by developing a deep understanding of system and application requirements while applying the best test strategies and latest technical solutions.  You’ll solve problems using a broad range of technologies including .NET/IIS, Selenium, Java, Linux, JavaScript/Python, SQL and mobile technologies. You will leverage your learnings in computer science to conduct early project scoping and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish testability goals across n-tier platforms. You will learn techniques around test coverage, automation, and testing practices. Ultimately you’ll put what you learn here into practice and monitor test results to validate functionality, performance, reliability, stability, security and compatibility with legacy and external systems; you will partner with Product Management, Project Management, Software Development, and other Test Engineers to ensure that a high quality product is delivered every time within an agile development cycle.

As a Test Engineer, you will have the ability to learn and understand complex system architectures, pinpoint both high and low-level problem areas, and influence solutions and optimization while staying current on development and test trends, methodologies and standards.

  • Be a part of strategic and tactical leadership of the test strategy and planning cycles for multiple projects that you will lead

  • Leverages technology in the most creative manner to build the right testing tools at the right time

  • Receive an understanding of the big picture to enable you to keep focused on the right tasks to meet timelines.

  • Reports and escalate issues while learning on how to create mitigations and options for the right resolution. Identify risks, perform risk analysis, works with stakeholders to understand those risks and helps reach the decision best for our customers

  • Receive thought leadership and coaching from other test engineers to drive continuous improvements.

  • Strong attention to detail to help ensure that programs are developed and validated the right way to ensure customer success. This includes:

    • Time Management skills to manage multiple projects.

    • Analytical thinking to gather and analyze information, to look at something through different points of view and to solve problems.

    • Observation Skills to catch issues that others may overlook.

Qualifications

  • BS with 0+ years of experience in Computer Science or related field

  • Understanding of Object Oriented Principles

  • Ability to write code in C# or JAVA

  • Knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
