To undertake the implementation for the full range of Visa products and services and to be the lead expert in the implementation process with financial institutions. Provide training, consultancy and assistance to all project stakeholders including banks, vendors and Visa internal teams such as Business Development. End to end project management including requirements gathering to facilitate testing and VisaNet system setup.
Plan, manage and implement Clients’ projects in a timely manner and ensure that implementation activities are performed to Visa standards and Client satisfaction. Manage external Customers’ expectations within a constantly changing environment and liaise with the relevant Visa functions.
Provide consultancy and training to Clients and Visa internal teams on all aspects of the implementation process and relevant key technical areas in order to facilitate an efficient implementation.
Follow documented procedures and processes, reporting errors and gaps in documentation and suggesting improvements
Support the Visa Business Development team and provide the appropriate parties with regular status reports on project progress
Ensure that all project related activities and fees are accurately logged and adhered to as per the fee policy
Assist in the introduction of new services and products. Play an active role in the definition of procedure and processes to enable new services to become standard services managed through the Implementation Management team
Ensure operational support is provided to Clients in Sub Saharan Africa. The role holder is expected to be able to respond to queries on a broad range of topics including Operating Regulations, settlement, VisaNet systems, testing requirements, as well as being able to discuss project lead times and explain project states in detail
Understand and contribute to the CSI Team’s overall objectives and goals. Provide proactive input in all areas of developmental activities, highlighting potential problems or resource issue
Bachelor degree level of a related field (preferably Computer Science or IT related degree)
Good knowledge of Business Information Systems (IT systems) and/or banking operations, and payment technology schemes is essential
5+ years’ experience in a technical role in the Payments technology industry (e.g Business Analyst, Project Manager, Systems Analyst, Implementation Consultant)
Fluency in English is a must
Candidate must have the ability to travel
