Job Description

Job Scope

This is an individual contributor role responsible for identifying and resolving ATM issues of moderate complexity.  This position is at an intermediate professional level and requires strong execution and analytical abilities.  This role works independently and receives minimal guidance.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as the tier two level support for all incoming ATM issues and questions
  • Serve as the internal focal point for all ATM production issues that escalate to third tier internal or external resources for further research
  • Coordinate efforts of DPS clients and their ATM vendor technicians to troubleshoot issues outside of DPS’ control/responsibility
  • Maintain issue tracking log to allow visibility of open issues and their statuses to internal DPS departments
  • Maintain the responsibility of issue ownership from engagement throughout the issue’s life cycle, regardless of additional internal or external escalations
  • Actively communicate with Visa DPS clients and will play the role of primary contact for status updates.
  • Communicate with third party vendor resources as needed to collect data, and track resolution efforts outside of Visa DPS’ systems.
  • Support all ATM driving implementation project requests for new and existing clients.
  • Is able to meet specified job responsibilities with minimal guidance, direction and/or involvement from management.
  • Will act as primary liaison between Visa support staff and customers and will represent customer system/operational requirements to internal organizations.
  • Responsible for own work flow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems.
  • Coordinate internal Visa resources to ensure delivery on commitments.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors/Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.).
  • 1 to 3 years direct experience in project management is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in electronic funds transfer (EFT), ATM, or retail banking, is preferred.
  • Experience/knowledge with Automated Teller Machines (ATM) industry.
  • Experience/knowledge of Connex Advantage terminal driving application a plus.
  • Experience in a technology based industry is preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and translate technical issues.
  • Ability to synthesize technical information and apply to business solutions.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities at once and re-prioritize tasks with minimal involvement from management.
  • Demonstrated success in customer relationship management.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
