Job Description

The LAC Investment Planning & Analytics (IPA) Team oversees investments and expenses across all LAC functions to assess and prioritize initiatives and ensure resources are allocated efficiently based on the alignment an impact to the business, and established processes are being adhered to.

The position calls for an ambitious, hard-working, highly analytical Finance professional. The candidate will have exposure to senior leadership and will participate in the analysis and preparation of key financial results and recommendations. This position will support measuring the success of our financial performance and providing management the ability to gauge the success of executed activities, and proactively address changing market conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Financial Business Partner (FBP) to the Finance, Risk, Legal, Strategy, and Government Relations teams, responsible for budgeting/forecasting coordination, and all financial related issues for the teams

  • Provide periodic variance analysis and executive commentary
  • Manage, forecast and report on variances related to travel expenses for all teams
  • Track investment execution from supported Business Units and periodically report timing, spend variances, and plans changes

  • Design, build and maintain various automated reporting models in Hyperion (Smartview) and TM1 primarily focused on travel and allocated expenses

  • Review and understand monthly reporting organizational hierarchy changes in Hyperion and implement changes accordingly

  • Support the delivery of global monthly business dashboards and key reporting

  • Support function through ad-hoc requests that require presentation materials or one-time financial analysis or guidance

  • Drive discussions and resolution of reporting issues by working with business partners globally, provide input regarding continuous improvements and best practices, and effectively integrate reporting processes throughout the organization

  • Support financial procurement procedures and responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate results with multiple audiences
  • Attention to detail and keen sense for accuracy
  • Ability to drive key financial processes
  • Report modeling and data management skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data and organize in a logical and efficient manner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
