Job Description

The global Visa.com team is looking for a Creative Services Project Director to help support the creation and execution of global content on Visa.com. In this role, you will work with internal Visa groups who own global content, regional teams who oversee local Visa.com websites, our own internal creative resources within the Global Visa.com team, as well as external agencies. You will be responsible for leading intake meetings to help our partners understand our process, providing workback schedules, creating and updating project requests, and facilitating communication and reviews for the creative process. You will also work closely with our creative team to help them understand what's needed for the project and coordinate with other parts of the Global Visa.com team (the authoring team, translations SME, and platform team). In effect, you will be project-managing a small internal Creative Services agency. This role will also oversee a more junior project management role who will take on smaller projects that you assign to them. Reports into Senior Director, Visa.com Global Content.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead intake meetings with business partners to explain the process for getting content onto Visa.com
  • Help business partners identify content requirements and complete project intake briefs
  • Work with the authoring team to test out specific content and component configurations as needed
  • Align resources from internal creative team (UX, Creative and Content Strategy) to support content development for new pages and site sections
  • Schedule projects according to resource availability and project priority
  • Communicate and follow up with business partners throughout the lifecycle of a project
  • Help business partners understand requirements for the Visa.com CMS (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Work with the internal Visa.com authoring team to ensure quality content and experiences are crafted
  • Work with Visa IT to help organize and shepherd projects that require development
  • Design new processes to improve efficiency and happiness
  • Manage and mentor a project coordinator

Qualifications

  • 7+ years project management experience, 12+ years professional experience
  • A customer service mindset and ability to work with different types of personalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to see the big picture as well as understand the nitty-gritty details
  • Ability to think long-term and about improving things right meow
  • Experience working with a digital creative production team
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Experience working within highly matrixed organizations
  • Comfortable with your weird side
  • Ability to juggle competing project timelines and balance resourcing
  • Desire to organize, develop and improve processes
  • Ability to pitch in and help with production work occasionally, as needed
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, or willingness to learn
  • Agency experience or experience working with creatives
