Job Description

Purpose: Key contributor in a regional team responsible for sales initiatives, support and operations for Visa Latin America. Collaborate with stakeholders to lead / support ongoing sales opportunities and initiatives that achieve strategic sales and business outcomes while enabling sales force efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key contributor in LAC Sales Initiatives team in three strategic sales areas: (1) Sales Project Management (2) Deal Team Support and (3) Sales Initiatives

  • Sales Project Management | Execute client and/or market projects and investments with and through the LAC Sales team that require cross-functional coordination

    • Drive client-centric mentality in all LAC sales initiatives, process and critical projects

    • Support LAC sales teams in the execution of opportunities and initiatives that drive Visa and client value

    • Collaborate in the development of business case and related analysis that support sales opportunity and initiatives

  • Deal Team Support| Bring the best of Visa to every client negotiation, RFP response, and execution of large client agreements / projects

    • Develop “Center of Excellence” repository of client pitches, proposals and win themes that can be shared across LAC and Globally;

    • Collaborate with Initiative and Deal team in other regions to import and export best practices effectively

    • Pro-actively manage deal pipeline and help prioritize deal efforts with LAC support teams

    • Collaborate in the measurement and “post-mortem” evaluation of Visa performance

  • Sales Initiatives | Lead and collaborate in the creation of tools, processes, and platforms that drive excellent and client centric business decisions

    • Contribute to, develop, and represent an “LAC sales point of view” in global priorities and initiatives that enable LAC to succeed and contribute to Visa success

    • Create, improve and maintain tools and templates for LAC sales teams that simplify and expedite common sales activities

  • Contribute to and collaborate with sales enablement, sales analytics, sales support and CRM teams in Sales and Business Planning & Operations team to drive excellent business outcomes

  • Position reports to Director, Sales Initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of work experience;

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative, business or communications field ; MBA a plus

  • Eager learner and passionate problem solver; consultant profile with strong foundation of business knowledge and judgement

  • Team player with a positive attitude and dedication to client service and user experience

  • Ability to track and assist with project management including driving cross-functional deliverables and timelines

  • Ability to work independently with strong time management and ability to execute on multiple concurrent deliverables

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences

  • Financial and data analysis, with strong competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)

  • Experience in or exposure to the following will be strongly considered:

    • technology and/or product sales;

    • experience working with Latin America demonstrating knowledge of local markets;

    • marketing or trade marketing, presentation design and client communication;

    • financial analysis and reporting;

    • project management;

    • payments and/or technology industry experience a plus.
