Visa’s Go-to-Market Strategic Partnership team is within the Global Product organization and is responsible for  accelerating product delivery and promoting innovative payment capabilities to extend Visa's product and services to clients and consumers in new and exciting ways.  

As part of the Go To Market team, this role will support program management for critical global product and new payment innovation launches, often in close collaboration with our major strategic partners who are industry leading brands and platform providers. 

Job Description

We are seeking a Program Manager who will be supporting a Senior Director and his/ her stakeholder team in ensuring that the organization effectively executes on its complex global product initiatives, organizational alignment, communication, and key business target metrics. S/he may also be required to manage independent programs. S/he is responsible for working cross-functionally with development, operations, sales, marketing, finance, risk, and legal.  

The ideal candidate will be self-directed, a structured thinker, highly organized and a creative problem solver with experience in program or project management.   Candidate must be able to build networks and foster relationships across the Visa organization.  Familiarity with Visa’s business, organization and products will be a huge plus.

Qualifications

  • Self-starter with a bias toward action and proven track record for successfully developing, building, launching and commercializing technology products
  • 5 + years of project management, product management, and/or in management consulting   
  • Knowledge and experience with Visa products  
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  •  Transparent in communication, decisive and big-picture oriented
  •  Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results 
  • Passionate about what you do, sense of humor, and fired up about the opportunity to transform payments globally 
  •  Exceptional personal accountability and the highest of ethical standards
  •  Proven project delivery experience
